Do I need to bring anything?
If you have your own yoga mat, we invite you to bring it with you. Community yoga mats and props are
available for class use, and yoga mats are for sale to purchase in the studio.
Can anyone practice yoga?
If you have a current/past injury or health condition, please arrive early to class to
discuss with the scheduled teacher. You can also contact us via email, phone call or text. Yoga is for
everybody and every body. Zen Yoga Roanoke offers various classes that are acceptable for all experience
levels, including beginners.
What is your studio etiquette?
Please arrive on time for class, and avoid entering the studio after class has begun. If it is your first visit,
please arrive 10 minutes prior to class to check in.
When you arrive, please remove your shoes at the door and select a cubby for your belongings.
Turn off your cell phone.
Be mindful of perfumes, fragrances, and personal hygiene. This is a shared community space.
We encourage you to enjoy Savasana. If for some reason, you need to leave class early, please let your
teacher know before the start of class.
For any other questions, please contact the studio for assistance.
We are looking for someone who would like to take the responsibility of keeping our studio space clean for the community, opening and closing the studio, and more, in exchange for free unlimited yoga.
We also offer free classes for disabled Veterans.
